My son and I built this bike and had a blast. We learned ALOT and we spent more money and time
than planned, but what project doesn't cost more or take longer....especially if you have high
expectations out of yourself and the final outcome.
You will not find a nicer, higher quality bike for the money.
I have over $37,000 invested in parts and paint.
Here's a list of what we used...also you can check out some build pictures at
www.fasteningconcepts.com/chopper/index.html
As you can see from the build pictures, the sheet metal work includes enclosing the tank tunnel
on the frame, building up the seat pan area to recess the seat, flairing the frame and seat
to the rear fender and molding in the LED tail light.
There is less than 100 miles on this bike, not even a tank full. We finished the bike 2 days
before the Easyriders Bike Show 2006 in Dallas (first two pictures). Started for the first
time the day after the show. It was great!!!
Anyway, the bike is brand new.
Our next plans are to build two bikes together. We each want to build a Bobber. He has some
ideas for his and I have ideas for mine.
HOWEVER, THE BOSS (my wife) SAYS WE HAVE TO SELL THIS ONE FIRST!!!
There's a lot of good memories with this one, I hate to see it go.
Please, serious inquiries only.
